Important Note: *As per U.S. Soccer requirements all coaches must first complete their U.S. Soccer “F” License in order to participate in this “E” License course (there is no waiting period between completing your “F” License and beginning your “E” License).
This course will NOT run through U.S. Soccer’s Digital Coaching Center.
We are once again pleased to work with the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association to offer the “E” License course at the Soccer Champions Coaches' Clinic at Mohegan Sun.
“E” License candidates should read the information below carefully as pre-event coursework is required to participate in the “E” License this year and there is the possibility that some number of “E” License candidates might have to complete their “E” License Practical Field Test at Post-Event Testing Sites in several locations across Connecticut.
Instructors: CJSA Staff & MYSA Staff
IMPORTANT: To earn your “E” License, coaches MUST:
(In addition to the following sessions, “E” License candidates also must attend ALL general clinic sessions)
At the clinic, please check in before 5PM on Thursday, February 23rd at General Event Registration in the pre-function area of the Mohegan Sun Convention Center. You will then need to check in with your “E” License Instructors. For planning purposes, you also must attend ALL clinic GENERAL FIELD SESSIONS as well as the following ADDITIONAL sessions to earn your “E” License (your instructor will review your course schedule as well on Thursday night):
Based on the number of candidates participating, some “E” License candidates may be required to attend Post-Event Testing Sites to complete their Practical Field Testing component of the “E” License. The Practical Field Testing component of the “E” License is mandatory.
Saturday, April 29: 8:00AM - 1:00PM*
FSA/Farmington Sports Arena (CJSA State Office Location)
11 Executive Drive
Farmington, CT 06032
*If you have a significant conflict with these dates, CJSA will work with you to provide an alternate practical field test time. However, should you be unable to attend the offered alternate date, you may be charged an additional $25 to participate in the practical field test at a later date.
It is likely that Connecticut-based coaches will be asked to attend one of this post-event testing session in order to receive their “E” License. Exact details will be determined on-site at the clinic depending on the size of the “E” License class. We will do our best to accommodate coach requests but we reserve the right to assign “E” License candidates to the off-site Practical Field Testing session if we cannot complete all tests on-site.
Field sessions will take place in the Mohegan Sun Convention Center's Uncas Ballroom.
Lecture sessions will take place in the Mohegan Sun Convention Center's Upper Level Meeting Rooms.
Members of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association and Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association coaching staff will teach all special “E” License courses.
The Soccer Champions Coaches' Clinic would like to thank CJSA for all its help with this special event offering.
