Rachel Wood is PCA Certified National Trainer and a 2x National Champion at the University of North Carolina, as well as a former member of the Boston Breakers. Rachel has coached at all levels of the game and takes her role as a coach very seriously as she recognizes the tremendous impact she will have on her athletes both on and off the field. Rachel has played for some of the world's best coaches, as well as some coaches that she believes fell short in their responsibility to the team and its players. In 2017, she founded the Summit Soccer Academy, a coaching academy where she uses soccer to teach important life lessons like self-confidence, self-advocacy and self-efficacy. She is passionate about developing players as both athletes and people. She is a sought after trainer for female and male soccer players from youth through collegiate athletics. Rachel is a thoughtful speaker who relates to players of all ages ages and abilities and believes in the power of positivity to get the most out of her athletes. Rachel has spoken at Harvard University, the Mass Youth Soccer Association's annual meeting and many other locations throughout New England.
